TimeWalk.org is an open source Github-based project that enables contributors to build and animate historically-accurate 3D models of any town or city. These models will then be made available as VR, AR, smartphone and desktop applications, enabling virtual “time travel”.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, collaborating with local libraries, history museums and technologists to bring history to life. Our Unity projects, maps and supporting materials can be found on our Github page at https://github.com/TimeWalkOrg.
